MECHANICAL REPAIR COMPLEX (MRC)

The main task of MRC as plant structural subdivision – to provide smooth and technically correct exploitation of mechanical equipment of the plant and keeping it in serviceable condition.

The main directions of MRC activity ensure accomplishment of the following task:

• methodological management of mechanical services of plant structural subdivisions, including:
- technical policy in the sphere of repair and modernization of mechanical equipment;
- definition of structure and duration of repair cycle of mechanical equipment;
- technical policy in the sphere of lubricant unit organisation, methods of lubrication and assortment of lubricating materials.
• assuring observation of the rules of mechanical equipment technical exploitation (RTE) and control of RTE observation in plant structural subdivision.
• planning, execution of repairs and organisation of technical repairs carrying out by the forces of complex workshops, workshops of other structural subdivisions of the plant and contracting organisations.
• organization of spare parts and removal equipment manufacturing and their repair in the workshops of MRC.
• design and manufacturing of facilities for mechanization and automation process.

At the present time, MRC comprises:
• Administration;
• Foundry & Forging (FF) including:
• Repair Facilities (RF)
• 4 shops (Mechanical Repair Shops (MRS) ¹1, MRS ¹2, Repair& Assembling Shop ¹3 (A&RS ¹3), and Steel-Structure Work Shop (SWS))
• Centre of automation and mechanization (CAM).

MRC’s subdivisions participate in preparation and execution of current and capital repairs of plant`s mechanical equipment, manufacture spare parts, removable equipment and render services on repair and restoration of details, unites and parts. CAM provides design and manufacturing of equipment for mechanization and automation of processes.

Technological capabilities of MRC allow to manufacture:
• steel casting weighing to 48 tons;
• cast-iron casting weighing to 27 tons;
• bronze casting weighing to 3 tons;
• forging weighing to 5 tons;
• weld fabricated metal frame work (directly in the shop) - 50 tons.

In the foundry shops of MRC can be produced more than 50 grades of ferrous and nonferrous alloys, including:
Cast iron (23 grades);
Bronze: ÁðÀ9Æ3Ë, ÁðÎ5Ö5Ñ5
Steel for castings (30 grades).
Technological capabilities of MRC are determined by the availability of the equipment in the shops.
